Richard has been in practice since 1966 with a one-year break for travel. His primary emphasis is with adult outpatients in individual and group psychotherapy. He has specialized training in family therapy, Gestalt therapy, and the treatment of personality disorders.

In addition to his practice of psychotherapy, Richard is a facilitator for groups of professionals who are trying to work through internal conflict.
