Marisol Wolf, PsyD

Pre-Doctoral Intern (94028440)

I am a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies. I am deeply honored and grateful to be a part of the BTI team. As a Paraguayan-American, I also offer bilingual therapy in Spanish.

I believe that every person has inherent wisdom, and I deeply value the relationship I cultivate with my clients. My passion is to support my clients’ embodied intelligence through deep listening to build greater access to internal and external resources. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have developmental trauma and C-PTSD. Additionally, I value working with clients to explore difficulties in relationships, spiritual emergence and spirituality, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, personality disorder abuse recovery, codependency, relationship trauma, family dynamics, impacts of systemic oppression, intersectionality, and shame. I am passionate about cultivating greater emotional and relational intelligence alongside my clients.

My approach to therapy is integrative and aspires to adapt and respond to each individual’s needs moment to moment. I am inspired by and trained in Transpersonal and Psychodynamic frameworks, Rogerian theory, and Eastern Psychology. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and utilizes transpersonal, psychodynamic, depth-oriented, somatic (body-oriented), relational, attachment, present-centered, and existential-humanistic perspectives and techniques.

I enjoy community psychology at BTI which embodies inclusivity and serves a wide variety of clients. I intend to provide a warm and welcoming environment that allows individuals to learn, heal, and grow in a good way.

During my career in the Bay Area, I have enjoyed working in schools and community-based clinics as a mental health therapist. I have completed a 40-hour Conflict Resolution Mediator training in Yolo County and have provided therapy services for a wide variety of people, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups.

Originally from Wisconsin, I have made the Bay Area my home for the past 8 years. I am dedicated to a daily meditation and yoga practice, and in my free time, I like to dance, lodge in Temazcal & sweat lodges, and spend time outdoors.
