In-Person & Video Sessions
I approach therapeutic work from a relational, psychodynamic lens that is trauma informed. I believe a therapeutic relationship where you feel seen and allowed to be your most authentic self is a crucial foundation to the therapeutic work at hand. As your therapist, I listen actively, ask questions, and work to create a space that feels best for you. I tailor my approach based on the challenges you bring in or areas of your life you would most like to focus on. In addition to these concerns, we are all uniquely shaped by our histories, our earliest experiences in relationships, and our sociocultural context. As we embark together on a journey of exploration, I will pay careful attention to the role these forces play in your life as well.
I work with children, teens, and individual adults; thus, the space we create will look very different based on your unique needs. With children, play is a powerful therapeutic tool; with teens, we may talk or do activities, depending on what suits you best. In my work with children, I generally involve parents/caregivers through regular calls/meetings. With adult clientele, I am deeply collaborative and focus our work on gaining new insights that may foster the opportunity for new ways of being. I have a depth of experience working with complex trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, personality disorders, neurodivergence, grief/loss, and difficulties in relationships.
My approach is open and grounded in curiosity. I believe that therapy offers a unique space where you are invited to slow down and receive what you need. Together, we will work to find what that is for you.
