Laura Vidal, PsyD

Licensed Psychologist (PSY 35031)

Do you feel stuck or unfulfilled? Are you going through an overwhelming life transition, or feeling confined by negative thinking patterns and self-destructive behaviors? Perhaps you want to deepen your relationships with others and find greater meaning and purpose in life.

Therapy can help by offering you an opportunity to connect with your inner world, deeply process your experiences, and address your personal challenges.

Together, we will undertake a collaborative and safe exploration aimed at uncovering the root causes of your suffering along with the guideposts to your path forward.

I liken the work I do to that of a writer who aims to deeply understand her characters’ perspectives, desires, fears, and unconscious and conscious motives. I bring this same curiosity and attentiveness to my work with clients, seeking to understand you fully as the author and protagonist of your own narrative.

You are the heroine or hero of your story. I am here to support you in illuminating how you want your story to unfold.

A Little About Me

Born in New York City and raised in the Dominican Republic, I am bicultural and bilingual. This background gives me firsthand understanding of the losses and struggles that can come from immigration and cultural transitions.

When not working with clients, I enjoy reading novels, exploring nature with my husband and toddler, and cuddling with my dog, Savvy.
