People come to therapy for many reasons, but the two most essential things every client wants are relief from emotional pain and to be understood. In my practice, I strive to provide both by actively trying to understand my clients’ unique history, experiences, and struggles. I do this by taking a warm, compassionate, curious, and supportive stance towards helping and remembering that I do not have the answers but can help my clients find them for themselves. Therapy with me is a non-judgmental, open-ended conversation with a caring collaborator who wants to help you live your life as fully as possible.

My clients come to therapy for a wide variety of reasons. Many struggle with depression, anxiety, or past trauma. Others require assistance through difficult circumstances, such as relationship issues, life transitions, grief, and work or academic stress. Others feel lost and unsure of where to go next in life.

Reaching out for help can be difficult, but also very brave. As a therapist, I do my best to meet you where you are. Success in therapy requires trust, and I strive to build that trust. This means working through the issues with you rather than acting as an observer or a director. If you feel ready to start therapy, please get in touch with me.
